Punta del Este!

Bom Dia!!


Hoje faz mais um chuvoso dia aqui em Punta, com bastante vento e um pouco frio!! (Ainda bem que estávamos esperando!!). Chegamos aqui na quarta-feira à noite, após mais ou menos 2 horas de viagem de Porto Alegre para cá. Chegamos e já fomos direto jantar, em seguida fizemos check in em nosso hotel e muitos já aproveitaram para curtir a piscina aquecida do hotel!!!

Ontem tivemos manhã livre para curtir o a praia, porém estava chovendo muito então os estudantes curtiram a infra-estrutura de nosso hotel, que conta com sala de ginástica, internet de graça, piscina comum, piscina quente e sauna!

Pela tarde começaram nossos passeios por esse maravilhoso balneário. Visitamos a península, o farol, o porto, La Barra (com suas pontes ondulantes), Beverly Hills (com suas mansões de tirar o fôlego), a cidade de Maldonado e Punta Ballena, onde vimos a charmosa Casa Pueblo. Visitamos o Hotel Conrad (onde tem um Cassino) e terminamos nosso tour no shopping de Punta! Todos adoraram!!

Vamos partir daqui a pouquinho para Montevidéu, capital do Uruguai e uma cidade exemplo de qualidade de vida e segurança! De lá, mando mais notícias!!

Good Morning!

Today is another rainy day here in Punta, once again bringing cool weather along with strong wind!! (Which is what we have been expecting!!). We arrived here Wednesday night, after almost twelve hours of travel by bus from the city of Porto Alegre. We went straight to have dinner, and just after checked into our hotel. Some students swam at the hot swimming pool of the hotel!!

Yesterday we had a free morning to enjoy the beach, but it was raining a lot so they enjoyed the excellent facilities of our hotel, which include exercise room, free internet, common pool, climate controlled pool and sauna!

In the afternoon we began our activities of the marvelous peninsula. We visited the lighthouse, the port, La Barra (with the bridge with a wave like structure), Beverly Hills (with its breathtaking mansions), the city of Maldonado, and finished our tour at Punta Ballena, where we saw the charming Casa Pueblo. Just after we went to Conrad Hotel, where it is also located a Cassino and we finished our tour at the Punta mall.

In a while we are leaving to Montevidéu, the capital of Uruguay and an example of security and high quality of life! From there, I will send more news!!
