El Palmar!!

Bom dia!!

Bem vindos a El Palmar!! Este parque foi criado em 1966 com o objetivo de conservar uma das ultimas zonas com palmeiras “yatay”. Chegamos aqui na quarta-feira à noite. Fomos muito bem recebidos pelos guias e trabalhadores locais, e logo após sermos apresentados a esse maravilhoso lugar, tivemos um delicioso jantar! Nossos quartos são dentro de antigos vagões de trem...é muito diferente e charmoso! Logo em seguida, nos divertimos cantando algumas musicas antigas em um Karaokê!

Ontem pela manhã começaram os passeios em grupos alternados. Pela manhã fizemos cavalgada e canoagem. Almoçamos e tivemos tempo livre para a “siesta”, e por volta de 3 e meia da tarde fizemos um safári pela reserva ecológica. A noite, após o jantar, tivemos uma fogueira onde fizemos as despedidas, agradecimentos a todos os momentos bons que passamos juntos e todos se emocionaram bastante: o grupo ficou bem unido nesses dias de viagem.

Sairemos daqui a pouco para Puerto Iguazu, aonde vamos somente descansar (para não viajar a noite) antes de cruzar a fronteira para o Brasil!

A viagem chegou ao final, e todos estão bem tristes!! Mas muitos já estão se preparando para a próxima aventura daqui a 1 semana: Amazônia!!!!

Gostaria de agradecer nossa coordenação, motoristas e nossa chaperone do D4770 Adriana Chuffi Rodrigues por me ajudar a tomar conta dos meninos, por ser uma grande companheira e participar de todos os momentos e risadas!! Aos estudantes por terem sido maravilhosos! Amo todos vocês!!! À Clarissa, nossa monitora, boa sorte!!! (Ela vai morar na Austrália para melhorar seu inglês)!! Obrigada por esses dois anos de trabalho duro e responsável com a Terra Brasil e comigo!

A Palavra da viagem é: “LEGENDARY”(certo, Darren?!)!!!

Good morning and Welcome to El Palmar!! This park was created in 1966 to preserve one of the last areas that have the “Yatay” Palm tree. We arrived here on Wednesday night. All the guides and workers at the place were waiting for us, and they were really nice! They showed us the place (we are sleeping at old train carriages, which are really cool and charming) and soon after we had a delicious dinner! After dinner, we had fun singing old songs at a Karaoke: it was great!

Yesterday we started our activities here. In the morning we went horseback riding and cannoning. We had lunch and after the “siesta” (time after lunch to rest), around 3:30 in the afternoon, we made a Safari at this ecological reserve. That night, after dinner, we had a bonfire and farewell party, where we said goodbye to each other, and spoke and laughed about all the special moments we spent together! Everyone was sad and happy at the same time: the group was really close together during the trip!

We are leaving now to Puerto Iguazu, where we will stop for the night to rest and because of safety (we do not travel during the nights) and tomorrow early we’ll cross to the Brazilian side.

Sadly, the trip has reached the end, and everyone is very upset about the conclusion of the trip!! Yet many are already prepared for the next adventure to the Amazon, which will depart in only one week!!!

I would like to thank our coordination, drivers, and our chaperone from district 4770, Adriana Chuffi Rodrigues for helping me take care of the exchange students and for being and amazing friend!! As well to the students for being absolutely great throughout the trip!! I love you all!! To Clarissa, our other coordinator, Good Luck with your experience in Australia (she is going to study there to improve her English). Thank you for the Amazing two years working so hard with Terra Brasil and me!

The word of the trip is: LEGENDARY (right, Darren?!)!!!
