Bem vindos a Florianópolis, carinhosamente chamada de Floripa, Capital de Santa Catarina! Saímos de Curitiba sexta-feira cedo e fomos direto para a estação Rodoferroviária, onde embarcamos em um trem num maravilhoso passeio pela Serra do Mar. Todos ficaram fascinados com as paisagens e tiraram muitas fotos. Chegamos a uma cidade chamada Morretes, onde apreciamos um delicioso prato típico da região chamado Barreado. Chegamos aqui por volta de 22:00. Florianópolis é uma ilha, ligada ao continente por 2 pontes, sendo a mais antiga Ponte Hercílio Luz, famoso cartão postal da cidade (que hoje em dia só trafegam pedestres e ciclistas).
O clima está um pouco mais quente do que em Curitiba!
Ontem pela manhã fizemos um passeio de barco na Lagoa da Conceição, ponto turístico natural mais conhecido da cidade. Pudemos observar a diversidade da fauna e flora e nos admirarmos com a bela paisagem. Paramos em um restaurante à beira da lagoa para almoçarmos um rodízio de peixes e camarões de dar água na boca e na volta nos divertimos cantando e fazendo brincadeiras.
Em seguida fomos conhecer as dunas da Praia da Joaquina e apesar da chuva, praticamos Sand Board, o que rendeu muitos tombos e várias risadas. Em seguida caminhamos pelas dunas até chegarmos à praia, famosa pelos campeonatos nacionais de surfe que ali se realizam. Apesar do tempo mais frio e de estar ventando, alguns intercambistas se animaram a entrar no mar. Outros preferiram conhecer o artesanato local e também subir nas grandes pedras para observar melhor a paisagem e tirar fotos.
À noite, tivemos uma festinha muito divertida em nosso hotel para comemorar os aniversariantes da viagem. Teve muita musica, dança e diversão!!
Agora às 09h00min estamos partindo para uma das cidades mais charmosas do Rio Grande do Sul (em minha opinião), Gramado. Mando então mais noticias em breve.

Good Morning!!
Welcome to Florianópolis, affectionately known as Floripa, Capital of the state Santa Catarina! We have left Curitiba early, and we went straight to the bus station, where we left by train on a marvelous trip through “Serra do Mar”. Everyone was fascinated with the view and took many photos. We arrived in a city called Morretes, where we enjoyed the delicious typical plate of the region called “Barreado”. We arrived here around 10h00 at night. Florianópolis is an island connected to the continent by two bridges, one being the older Ponte Hercílio Luz, the famous post card photo of the city (that today is only open to pedestrians and cyclist).
The climate is hotter then in Curitiba!
Yesterday morning we took a boat tour in “Lagoa da Conceição”, the best known natural tourist points of the city. We were able to observe diverse animals and plants and we admired a beautiful view. We stopped in a restaurant at the bay to eat lunch at an all you can eat shrimp and fish buffet “Very delicious”.
After, we went to the dunes of Joaquina beach and despite of the rain, practiced sand boarding, falling and laughing a lot. Next, we walked through the dunes to the famous beach, known nation wide for the great surfing. Besides the cool weather and the wind, some exchange students enjoyed entering the ocean. Others preferred to explore the stalls and also scale the large rocks to enjoy the view and take photos.
At night we had a small party at our hotel to celebrate the birthdays of the exchange students on the trip. There was music and lot of fun!! We danced a lot!!
At 9:00 we will leave for the most charming city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul (in my opinion), called Gramado. I will send more news soon!
